Liang joined the Getz lab as an Associate Computational Biologist. She received her Master of Science degree in Tech Policy and Computer Science from MIT. Interested in the intersection of biology and data science, she is passionate about discovering biological insights from large datasets, which led her to the field of genomics. Her current projects focus on tumor heterogeneity and cancer drug resistance in collaboration with IBM and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, reading and trying out different cuisines.
