Zachary joined the Getz Lab in May of 2024. He is currently working on a pan-cancer whole-genome project investigating noncoding somatic driver mutations.

Zachary is currently a senior at Brigham Young University. He plans to graduate with a B.S. in Bioinformatics and a minor in Computer Science in April 2025. In the future, he plans to attend graduate school to continue his studies in cancer and computational biology.

Outside of his studies, Zachary enjoys hiking, cycling, reading, skiing, and board games.
