Anay joined the Getz Group in July 2021 as a summer intern. He works on downstream bioinformatics analyses for single-cell experimentation under the Broad/IBM Cancer Resistance project. Anay currently attends the Texas Academy of Mathematics & Science (TAMS) at the University of North Texas, where he is a high school senior and as part of the early college entry program is also considered a college sophomore. At TAMS, Anay is on the Computer Science track and takes collegiate mathematics/computer science courses. For his undergraduate research studies, he looks forward to furthering bioinformatics analyses by integrating high-dimensionality single-cell analysis with machine learning. He also enjoys playing table tennis 🏓, poker 🎰, and likes to swim 🌊.
