Xuan joined the Getz lab as a Postdoctoral Associate with a passion for understanding the somatic evolution of cancer and the mysterious premalignant stages, with the guidance of ‘omics approaches.

Xuan received her PhD in Oncology from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College (CAMS & PUMC) in 2023. There, she focused on resolving the genomic and epigenomic features of multistep gastroesophageal carcinogenesis. Before that, Xuan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), where she became fascinated with multidisciplinary research.

When not working, Xuan enjoys reading, playing badminton, and feeling the vibe of nature.
