Chet was an Associate Director at the Broad Institute in the Getz Lab. He joined the Getz Lab in 2015. In December 2021 he retired but continues to work for the lab, part-time, on specific projects.

Chet joined the Broad Institute in 2012 as a member of Jill Mezerof’s lab. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Berkeley under the guidance of Gordon Newell.

Prior to joining the Broad, Chet worked within the telecommunications industry for 25 years in multiple roles, designing and implementing communications and security protocols and managing the development of data communications and IT software.
