Pınar is a research scientist in the Getz Lab. Her research interests center on using sequencing-based approaches and functional validation to characterize mechanisms of innate and acquired drug resistance in cancer, with a focus on solid tumors.
Prior to her current role, Pınar earned B.S. degrees in Toxicology and Immunology and Infectious Disease and an M.S. in Molecular Medicine from Pennsylvania State University, a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University, and a Master’s of Biomedical Informatics (M.B.I.) from Harvard Medical School.
